Frequently Asked Questions
How does shipping work?
All yarn is ready to ship and will be on its way to you quickly. Current shipping days are Monday (Tuesday if a Holiday) and Friday. If your order is placed before 5pm the day prior, it will ship out the following day. Shipping times may be delayed if we are on vacation but new collections will not be launched when we are planning time off.
All other orders require paid shipping and are sent via USPS. Once the package is accepted by USPS, Yarrrn Matey is no longer responsible. If there is an issue with the shipping once the item has been accepted by the post office, please contact USPS directly.
What dye do you use?
Acid dyes are used due to their colorfastness and longevity.
What are your washing instructions?
Hand wash cold, lie flat to dry is recommended. All yarns are washed prior to sale but some bleeding may occur during first wash. If you are concerned about bleeding or have completed a colorwork patter, we suggest using a color catcher during your wash.
Do you accept returns?
We do not accept returns. That being said, we want you to be happy with your experience with us. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please reach out and let us know.
Do you sell to businesses? Is there a discount?
We do sell to businesses and offer a discount depending on the quantity of items being purchased. If you are interested in our current discount structure, please send an email to YarrrnMatey@gmail.com. This discount is only available for businesses but we do run sales throughout the year for other buyers.
